Works fine for me in Firefox. Looks like an issue with the certificate authority.
Try restarting your browser to clear the ocsp cache.

I've cleared all history from Firefox and now I get this:
load the https url
Secure Connection Failed
refresh
page loads, all my settings are erased
DOM Storage, whatever it is, is cleared
However, the regular http url works, and my settings and DOM Storage still remain.

This has happened to me a couple times since yesterday. I just have to close and reopen my browser.
I'm using Firefox 24 ESR.

OP here, it's working now. https url works, settings are saved.
