What's going to happen once the split occurs?
Will the links direct to the new domain or will 4chan still work for blue boards?

Blue boards will link to 4channel.org
Res boards will link to 4chan.org

There will be an automatic redirect on 4chan's end anyway so even if you access a blue board through 4chan.org you'll be redirected to the proper domain.
